The Board of Trustees of Celebration Jewish Congregation is pleased to announce CJC's High Holy Days Program for our new year, 5771.
Services will be held on Erev Rosh Hashanah, Wednesday night, September 8th; Rosh Hashanah morning, Thursday, September 9th; Erev Yom Kippur, Friday night, September 17th; and Yom Kippur morning, Saturday, September 18th.
All services will be held at Celebration's Heritage Hall and will be lead by Rabbi Richard Cowin.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Norton Christeson, renowned Tenor and Chairman of the Music Dept. at Daytona Beach College, and his wife, Soprano/Professor Jane Christeson of Stetson University, will once again participate as our Cantorial Soloists for the High Holy Day services this year.
Evening services will begin at 6:30 p.m., Morning services will begin at 9:00 a.m. Yizkor will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Yom Kippur.
The active participation of our community in CJC's High Holy Days services will make this new year even sweeter. Suggested contributions are the same as last year for all services - $75 for adults and $35 for children ages 4 thru 12 - and are intended to defray costs and encourage maximum family participation.
